While working on different scripts and T.V. pilots. David and Neal found their writing method were unique and different from any other writers team. After their third failed attempt at getting a pilot picked up. They thought to them selves. “There should be a show about this.” Thus Coffee Break was born. Taking matters in their own hands. The duo plotted out their mission of creating a web-series that will be able to deliver the stories behind the scripts.
Using their imaginations, Coffee Break will be able to tap into different genre of film and explore the random insane quarrels life throws at you. Using real life experience with a little exaggeration. You will be able to see the loss and triumphs writers encounter when trying to break into the business that is Show-Biz.
Bringing themselves into the Show: “Writing about myself and ways I would handle certain situation. I told Neal, Hey we should play ourselves.”-David. Feeling close to the material and knowing that starting out they would have no money to pay real actors. David and Neal took the time and preparation one takes to play themselves. Slowly the group started to come together and Coffee Break became a reality. Playing with different fields of story telling and humor. The Creators of Coffee Break hope that people can find themselves a laugh or two when surfing the internet for entertainment.

Ok here goes..Honestly there were 2 funny spots. 1st was when Dave said he was not listening and drew the women with boobs! Priceless!!!Almost spit coffee out my nose. Nice… 2nd when Neal laid back in the chair mumbling about an Asian woman…like he was fantasizing about doing her..but the way he did it was funny…not ha ha funny just funny!! I’m not sure if your trying to reach a specific age group, most likely your biggest Fans will be within your age bracket unless you reach out to the Seniors(40-50)…Just my opinion!! Nice job well done
Amazing! Can’t wait to see where the story goes!
Just because you have a high def camera doesnt mean you should make movies… nice try.
I like this one much better..funny about Dave’s pants. Nice short Script and now I’m left hanging which is good because you now have my attention. I can’t wait to see what is next. I’m liking the humor here…On the downside the scenes going back and forth between Neal and Dave were choppy and seemed force. No fluid not natural enough..but that is the camera man..editing department. The scare in the gas station was lame. I knew what was going to be said and what was going to happen before it happened. I think that Neal and David together as actors/comedians are very funny even though they are writers. Dave has good timing playing off Neal as the straight man. As much as it is serious the underlying Comedic factor is so out there and hysterical it is hard to overlook it. That’s because of the talent of Neal Fischer and Dave Navarro. Now that is just my personal opinion!!
GREAT!
Not sure what movie your spoofing, but like it anyway…………….. cute episode
Why did I have to find out like this that you don’t value my services?
I like what your doing but I’m getting a “Friends” theme going on in the photoshoot. Also your group shot with the black and white background really reminds me of “Friends” as does the music..Just my two sense..trying to give constructive feedback.
I totally love this silhouette picture with Coffee break in background.Very original can’t remember seeing it anywhere else. Just be Careful because I am seeing a lot of “Friends” innuendo/similiarity in your shows and its been done. Hope I’m not offending anyone just trying to give some insight and i hope it helps. If not please disregard…lolol Thanks
Was that the font from Indiana Jones I just saw?????!!!!!
Bond, I’ll let you decipher this secret-encoded message to find out if it indeed WAS that font.
“You lost today, kid. But that doesn’t mean you have to like it. ” …and that was a YES. Well, not the original,

Hello from Holland! I have found your website on askjeeves. Amazing content! Dana J. White x
Just brilliant, its getting better every episode, everybody was just really great. Loved Goth girl though
Ok another opinion on the fly. I just wanted to slap the Blonde and Goth girl. Cringed thru the whole dialog. The guy that ran the Focus group..sorry but just can’t see anyone acting like that or anyone saying the things that Dave said in a focus group. It didn’t seem real and more like a skit(and not a funny one). As for neal getting up and taking over like he did can’t see that happening in a Focus group either. I would imagine someone asking him to leave or take a seat. On the up beat. The black chick was the only one who I thought really acted. It came easy and natural. I loved her comment about Wine tasting and Soduko..hilarious. Loved how the white girls did not even get the hit..right over there heads..lolol…The whole twighlight thing..Not feeling it, too corny. Can’t wait to see next episode…Hopefully it won’t be politically correct..stop explaining…lolol
Bwahahah. Having been part of countless market research studies, I can confirm that yes, there are facilitators that lose control of their group and yes, there is usually that 1 person in the group who takes over.
I enjoyed this episode and love the message that Hollywood movies are so formulaic, that anyone with an IQ over 80 can predict what is going to happen next.
Great job everyone, I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Dave & crew
That was seriously funny… I cant wait to see what happens in the next episode. Great work
The focus group guy was in the DePaul School of Theatre for a year or two. He is a cool guy. Colleen and Britney was hilarious as always. I like this one.
Jeaniene: I think your comments are in your arse !
I love reading your blog. You seem like a natural in sharing your experiences. I am starting my blog as well, do you think only natural writers can have something to share?
Hey guys.
This was the first video of Coffee Break that I got to watch. Overall very nice. The lighting is good, there are some really great camera shots, and the actors and actresses look familiar! haha. It’s pretty sweet.
Keep doing what you guys are passionate about and it’ll go far!
High from San Francisco!
Much Love,

Hahah! I’ve totally forgot to put on pants before.
I couldn’t read what was on the board though!!
